Adrenaline during the canoe-kayak of Colombières in Roquebrun
Departure, upstream of the Colombièresdam. After the initiation, take advantage of the body of water to warm up!
Colombières slide : a slide over 30 meters. At the sight of the Tarassac , be ready.
The two most technical rapids of the Orb await you: “La Grille” and “Le Moulin”. Over 600 meters of descent you will lose 10 meters of altitude difference.
After the mouth of the Jaur on your right, you will pass our 15 kilometer launch. Here, the river widens and the rapids will be less technical.
Stay vigilant though, some rapids could surprise you, especially if EDF has released water...
Our advice for navigation
- You have endurance and know how to steer a boat.
- You will spend the day on the water, take something to eat. Our Guinguette will provide you with what you need.
- Please listen to the induction before you leave.
- Knowing how to swim is mandatory.
- Keep your safety distance before entering the rapids: 10 meters between boats.
- Before our 15km launch, the Jaur may flow into theOrb with a more or less significant water flow. This is how EDF releases increase the water level on our routes.

Be kind to swimmers and fishermen, your respect will be their courtesy.
Things to know about waste
Since 2024, final waste cannot be taken on base.
At your disposal, ONLY selective sorting containers (plastic and paper packaging, glass).
