Canoe-kayak descent from Tarassac to Roquebrun : Vive water
After the climb in shuttle, the canoe adventure begins in Tarassac , a small charming village located at the foot of the Massif du Caroux, in the heart of the Haut Languedoc Natural Park, from where you will embark for an unforgettable canoe-kayak descent on The Orb .
Along the mountains and shores with many vines, you will see some wine estates.
Beaches and fasts alternate to the site of the Pont de Vieussan .
This 15 km course is perfect for nature and adventure enthusiasts. Small fasts and vivid water passages will add a little sensation to your adventure while remaining adapted to a family and friendly audience.
After about 5 hours of navigation, you will arrive in Roquebrun , one of the most beautiful villages in Hérault, where you can relax and enjoy an idyllic setting.

Our advice for navigation
- 5 hours of descent… Take something to eat and drink. Our Guinguette will provide you with what you need.
- Please listen to the induction before you leave.
- Knowing how to swim is mandatory.
- Keep your safety distance before entering the rapids: 10 meters between boats.
- A few meters upstream from our launch, the Jaur flows into theOrb. It is through this watercourse that EDF releases increase the water level on our routes.
