Adrenaline rush during the canoe-kayak descent from Colombières to Roquebrun
Start upstream from the Colombièresdam. After the introductory session, enjoy the lake to warm up!
You will begin with the Colombières : A slide of over 30 meters. When you see the "Suspension Bridge" of Tarassac , be ready.
The two most technical rapids on the Orb await you: "La Grille" and "Le Moulin". Over 600 meters of descent, you will lose 10 meters of elevation.
After the mouth of the Jaur on your right, you will pass our 15-kilometer launch point. Here, the river widens and the rapids will be less technical.
However, remain vigilant; some rapids could surprise you, especially if EDF has released water…
Our advice for navigation
- You are resilient and know how to steer a boat.
- You'll be spending the day on the water, so bring your own food. Our riverside café will provide everything you need.
- Please listen to the induction before you leave.
- Knowing how to swim is mandatory.
- Take closed shoes (no flip flops) if needed water shoes on sale on site
- Keep your safety distance before entering the rapids: 10 meters between boats.
- Before we begin the 15km swim, the Jaur river may flow into theOrb with a greater or lesser flow of water. This is how EDF releases increase the water level in our swim routes.
