Canoe-kayak descent from Tarassac to Roquebrun : whitewater
After the shuttle ride up, the canoe adventure begins in Tarassac , a charming little village located at the foot of the Caroux massif, in the heart of the Haut Languedoc Natural Park, from where you will embark on an unforgettable canoe-kayak descent Orb river .
Following the mountains and the banks lined with vineyards, you will see several wine estates.

This 15km route is perfect for nature and adventure enthusiasts. The small rapids and whitewater sections will add a bit of excitement to your adventure while remaining suitable for families and friends.
After approximately 5 hours of sailing, you will arrive in Roquebrun , one of the most beautiful villages in the Hérault, where you can relax and enjoy an idyllic setting.

Our advice for navigation
- 5 hours of descent… Bring something to eat and drink. Our Guinguette will provide everything you need.
- Please listen to the induction before you leave.
- Knowing how to swim is mandatory.
- Wear closed-toe shoes (no flip-flops); water shoes are available for purchase on site if needed
- Keep your safety distances before entering the rapids: 10 meters between boats.
- A few meters upstream from our launch point, the Jaur flows into theOrb. It is through this watercourse that EDF releases increase the water level of our courses.

You will be crossing the Haut Languedoc Regional Natural Park and private properties; please respect them.
Be courteous to swimmers and fishermen; your respect will be appreciated.
Things to know about waste
Since 2024, final waste cannot be taken on base.
At your disposal, ONLY selective sorting containers (plastic and paper packaging, glass).
