The water level in the summer is sustained by letting water out of the dam : 37 km of canoe trip.
Enjoy a jaunt in the hinterland a mere 30 km away from Béziers and discover Roquebrun, a picturesque medieval village with the remains of its once grand castle overlooking the bell tower. You can go for a stroll in the Mediterranean garden and make the most of our great canoe-kayak base!
Our base is located in a natural reserve where you can go with the current on trips from 5 to 37 km and combine adventure with relaxation in authentic and untouched countryside.
From mid-April to mid-October, Grandeur Nature, the Roquebrun canoe-kayak renter, provides you with high quality and fully modern equipment. A qualified and experienced team advises you on your selection of trip and boat. We also supply equipment appropriate for children from the age of 8. « Canoë Roquebrun » will take you by bus to the departure site and will introduce you to the sport in a safe manner before you leave. You will then go boating with complete confidence.
If you set off early enough, you may be lucky enough to see herons nestled in this exceptional surroundings as well as very surprising wildlife like coypus and minks…

The finish of the trip is always where you parked so you will waste no time waiting for a lift back to your vehicle.
At the base, you will also find a free car park and a snack open all day 7/7 (July and August).
